Launched in 2015 the HR Leadership & Management Awards has established itself as the benchmark for those demonstrating excellence in HR in Ireland. The 2020 Awards took place in November 2020 and due to the current pandemic, the ceremony was held virtually. The event was hosted by journalist and broadcaster Richard Curran and the judging panel was led by Edel Conway professor in HRM and Organisational Psychology at DCU Business School.
Obelisk were delighted to be announced the winner of the 'Most Effective Engagement Strategy' and also to be finalists for the ‘HR Team of the Year’ and the ‘Overall Excellence in HR’ award.
Lisa Healy, our HR Director spoke to the Irish Times regarding Obelisk’s win. “Employee engagement is more important than ever in today's climate and winning this award is fantastic recognition for the HR team in Obelisk. We have been on quite a journey over the last 12 months, and we are delighted with this achievement.”
These awards provided Obelisk with an opportunity to have our work reviewed by leading industry experts, to gain recognition from peers and to benchmark Obelisk against our competitors.
