We commit to being a responsible business for all our stakeholders, upholding the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. These responsibilities form the foundation of all our sustainability practices and may not be offset by good works elsewhere.
Follow our annual progress to date as we work toward achieving our sustainability goals.
Sustainability cannot be achieved alone. At Obelisk, we are aligning with best-in-class corporate sustainability initiatives and disclosure standards, and partnering with like-minded clients and suppliers to achieve transformative change for the good of all.
We recognise that now is the time to step-up. We recognise our power as an industry leader to make a difference, taking a data-oriented approach to drive continuous improvement.
Our people are our business. We’re adopting a proactive approach to achieving gender balance through recruitment, retention and learning & development practices. Not only is this the right thing to do, it’s good for business because it provides us with access to the biggest pool of talent possible and supports our growth strategy.
Currently, our senior leadership team has a 60:40 gender balance, and our aim is to achieve this across all levels of management by 2030.
This initiative is still in development, in partnership with our supply chain and clients, but our ambition is to have zero waste going to either landfill or incineration without recovery by 2030.
