Founded in 1996, Obelisk is a privately owned engineering services company. We now employ over 300 people, who work across many office locations in Dublin, Cavan and Cape Town.
Our core activity is in providing solutions and resources to telecoms, power transmission and distribution, renewable energy and tower infrastructure industries. We provide a full end to end managed engineering service solution that encompasses planning, design, network deployment, integration, upgrade and maintenance.
Through expansion and selectively recruiting key professionals, Obelisk has built a specialised workforce capable of managing and delivering the most complex engineering projects.
1996
Obelisk was established in the early stages of mobile telecoms infrastructure in Ireland.
We evolved to provide the complete suite of services for the telecoms infrastructure market, delivering approximately 40% of the mobile infrastructure in Ireland.
2008
Obelisk expanded to provide infrastructure rollout solutions to enable the broadening of telecoms and power infrastructure.
