Job Title: Quality Manager

Department: Shared Services

Reporting To: SHEQ Director

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of IMS (Integrated Management System) across the Obelisk Group. The role will be based at Obelisk’s Head Office located in Ballycoolin Dublin 15

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative work flow processes to lead to increased efficiencies with regards to costs and turnaround time
  • Prepare and distribute Quality Assurance and Health & Safety reports
  • Maintain & Manage Manual, Procedures & Forms for Obelisk Group
  • Generate new (with assistance from relevant departments) or updated documentation (Procedures, Forms, Flowcharts, Work Instructions, Policies) to all employees
  • Maintain documentation/records both on soft copy (Company server) and hard copy
  • Plan and Carry out Internal Process Audits
  • Maintain and communicate register of all site audits across 3 different departments
  • Maintain Non Conformance Reports/Site Deficiency Reports Register and closure of all issues raised
  • Generate & distribute Weekly Reports
  • Control & Manager Approval Process for Suppliers & Contractors
  • Maintain & Manage ASCL (Approved Suppliers/Contractors List) register and associated documentation
  • Maintain all Environmental Monitoring records (ESB / Gas / Waste)
  • Maintain all Records for Fire / Environmental Safety Checks & Evacuation Records

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change
  • Thrives in a challenging, fast-moving environment, with a flexible approach to work volumes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with team members and senior management
  • 3-4 years in a similar working environment.
  • PC literate with good reporting skills
  • Process Driven
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong Team Player
  • Experience in managing quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001
